So that we can provide a safe and professional service, we need to keep certain records about the animals in our care. We may record the following types of data about the animal: 

• Their basic routines and your contact information e.g., name, address, vets, emergency contact and care needs. 
• Financial details e.g., how boarding is paid for. 
• Health care data about the animal, which might include both physical and medical data. 

Why do we have this data?  

We require this data so that we can provide high-quality care for your animal in our care. 

We process personal data because: 

• We are required to do so to fulfil a contract that we have with you. 

The data that Exotic Inn animal boarding keep about Individuals is personal data and we ensure that we keep it confidential and that it is used appropriately.  Individuals have the following rights when it comes to their personal data: 

1. The right to request a copy of all the data Exotic Inn animal boarding keeps for that Individual.

Storage 

All information provided will be stored in paper form and kept in a locked cabinet. We will typically destroy the data you have provided within 7 days of collection and payment in full. If any information is collected digitally it would be transferred to paper and removed from our digital device. All information provided to the Exotic Inn animal boarding will not be shared with any third parties. The information you provide is only used if we require it to provide assistance with your pets stay.
